21 colors - that means alot of combinations....

We still haven't made the decision - but the window cladding will be a dark green color...

Pictures are chronological- this group is three sets taken 12-22, 12-25 and 12-29.

The catchment is almost done (it may be done when I write this) - they continue to work on the pool.

Matthew Joseph Thaddeus Stepanek

Matthew Joseph Thaddeus Stepanek (July 17, 1990 – June 22, 2004), known as Mattie Stepanek, was an American poet and advocate, who had six books of poetry and one book of essays all reach The New York Times bestsellers list. He became a well-respected peace advocate and motivational speaker, and lobbied on Capitol Hill on behalf of peace, people with disabilities, and children with life-threatening conditions.

Stepanek suffered from a rare form of muscular dystrophy, dysautonomic mitochondrial myopathy that resulted in his death just before his 14th birthday. His sister and two brothers also died from the disease during early childhood, and his mother has the adult form, diagnosed only after all four of her children were born.

It is good
To have a past
That is pleasant
To reflect upon.
Take care
To create
Such a gift
For your future.

I'll need some lotion, and a drink with an umbrella in it...

over 12 hours - over 12 people working - about 10 trucks of concrete....

Infinity edge

The first pool party

Everyone took turns spraying

Soon after the spraying - the steps were formed and had to be done fast as the concrete set up very fast

Ed is hard at work - overseeing the project

Hot tub at this end.  The pool is 3'6" at the bottom of the steps and 4'6" at the guest bedroom end and 5'6" at the master bedroom end.

When you pay this much money they name a beam after you

The sun set and they had to work by truck headlights

A view across the slab

Location zero - shows the framing

Next to the garage - looking toward the garden side guest room (concrete truck on master bedroom end)

I'm late with updates...

This progress quickly as you can see.  Framing of the main house started on the 16th.  On the 15th I met with a police officer to try to give an inventory of the plants that were taken from the property.  Someone came in in the last two weeks with an eye for nicer palms and took them about 5 palms out of the ground and well as ripping a few orchids off of there growing spots in the trees....

Paradise.

Ah well, here are the pictures.  Most recent on top...

Framing begins

I hope I don't have to figure this out

Temporary cover.  This will be sprayed with concrete.

What an infinity pool looks like from the far side

(following pics are from 12/14/09)

No framing - no catchment cover

Inside the garage - in the storage area looking at the parking area

We got a great deal on these doors - we just hope they don't walk away
