Collateral Damage
We have a new gate - cheap farm gate - but better than the chain that was there!
There were two new crews on-site by the time I arrived today. Concrete Pete for the slabs and Pacific Gunite for the catchment.
Apparently as the concrete truck was backing in for the catchment pour - a Manila Palm jumped in its way... though the crew yelled for the truck to stop, it was to no avail.
It's one less to move in the future (if there is a bright side).

The Accused
Same vantage point as previous panoramas
This is from standing on the house-pad - almost a 360 view
Electrical - and Plumbing from the garage - where the inverters and water pump will be located into the house.
Catchment base - hopefully the catchment will be completed by Friday.
A snag on the electrical permit - but it was an easy fix (water lines were not proper spacing from electrical, all it took was for someone to push them farther away.)
Another inspection happens and they will treat the garage area base for termites and then the slab should be poured, hopefully by Monday.
Framing of the garage could start next week.

Work is in full swing now
Plumbers - Electricians - and the final touches to excavation.
The excavators took the big equipment today and will return after the pool is complete to "backfill" the area.

The youngest excavator - 6 years old.
Double time!
House pad is raised 4 feet. Originally was planned for 5 feet.
We had to surface the entry road - heavy equipment doesn't like mud.
From the area outside the lanai by the guest rooms - looking over the pool.
Plumbing and Electrical trenched - inspection set for tomorrow - Nov 3.
This is the ocean path - newly sculpted - much easier to get to the tidepool (the path is on the right side of the picture - house site is to my left.)
New garden - fruit trees moved to both sides of this path. We had cinder and cinder soil placed in the new areas. Hydro-mulching is set for Saturday.
The rest of the area that will be hydro-mulched. Kukui and Plumeria on the left - Red Road farther left and bamboo on the right. Just want this as a grassy area for future use.
They took the big equipment away - and I never got to test drive them!
This is from HPP - moonset over Mauna Kea on November 3rd. (Sorry about the power lines)
